Keep North Charleston Beautiful celebrates its 25th anniversary as an organization on May 17, 2025. To celebrate, here’s a look back and all of the amazing things that have been accomplished over the past 25 years! (Scroll down to learn how you can be a part of our 25th anniversary celebration!)

  • Volunteers

    More than 191,000 volunteers have donated 491,000 hours of volunteer service to beautification, litter prevention, and environmental education in North Charleston. This service is valued at an estimated $11 million!

  • Litter

    KNCB volunteers have removed more than 1.6 million pounds of litter from public areas in North Charleston. This is the equivalent to 82,000 full trash bags!

  • Beautification

    KNCB staff and volunteers have installed more than 50,000 plants and trees in North Charleston!

  • Donations

    KNCB has secured approximately $500,000 in grants and donations to support our mission in North Charleston!

Help us celebrate our 25th anniversary by being a part of 25 in 2025! Starting on May 17, 2025; KNCB invites businesses, schools, and community groups to complete a litter cleanup in North Charleston! KNCB will provide all of the supplies needed for your cleanup. Our goal is for 25 different groups to complete a litter cleanup during our anniversary year. All groups completing cleanups throughout this year will be listed below.
